In our journey of reducing sugar in our lives it has been a challenge finding quick and easy sugar free snacks. These crackers are great for sitting on the desk at work, or in the pantry at home for when you are feeling peckish or cravings are niggling. Keep a back up in the freezer also to save time during the week!

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups of flaxseeds

    1 cup sunflower seeds

    1/2 pumpkin seeds

    1/2 cup of coconut flakes

    1/2 cup of water

    1 tsp cumin

    1 tsp oregano

    1 tsp turmeric

    1 tsp thyme

    1 tsp Himalayan salt

Instructions
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper and preheat the oven to 75°C
  • Grind the flaxseed and coconut nut flakes into a rough meal
  • Pulse the sunflower and pumpkin seeds in a blender or food processor
  • Add all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and combine to dough
  • Spread over the baking paper and press down
  • Dehydrate in the oven for a couple of an hr and a half, flip it over and dehydrate for a further hour
  • Break into appropriate sized crackers and serve
